The bubble & squeak with a fried hens egg is a weekly favourite with guest dishes appearing week to week. Highlights have included Stu’s Nan’s cottage pie, (using a recipe which can be traced back to the year 1850), Local venison heart and Swannington beef sweet chilli style to name but a scrumptious few! Recently we enjoyed deep fried lambs testicles, mmm, yummy!
The ‘Norfolk Tapas Night’ was the brainchild of our head chef Stuart Pegg, after being approached by the ‘Go Salsa’ team to host Salsa dancing on Mondays. It has since gone from strength to strength. Stuart is often joined in the kitchen by keen guest chefs who assist in menu planning and delivery, our regular guests include Justin Turner, who once beat Gordan Ramsey in a magazine cook off competition and Richard Pearce, a Barclays Bank manager who recently appeared on Channel 4’s famous ‘Come dine with me’ show.
